Description
The Lattice Coasters is carved by hand from Pink Tabaka soapstone quarried in the Tabaka hills, then shaped, sanded and given a etched & dyed finish in our Nakuru workshop. Measures roughly 10 × 10 × 1 cm. Because every piece is carved individually, grain, colour and size vary slightly — the one you receive is unique. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth; keep away from harsh cleaners.
The story of this piece
“The lattice is the same pattern carvers etch on wedding gifts in Kisii.”
