Description
The Lotus Bowl is carved by hand from Pink Tabaka soapstone quarried in the Tabaka hills, then shaped, sanded and given a polished finish in our Nakuru workshop. Measures roughly 15 cm diameter. Because every piece is carved individually, grain, colour and size vary slightly — the one you receive is unique. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth; keep away from harsh cleaners.
The story of this piece
“The petals are cut with a hooked knife the carvers forge themselves from old car springs.”
