Description
The Mother and Child is carved by hand from Pink Tabaka soapstone quarried in the Tabaka hills, then shaped, sanded and given a polished finish in our Nakuru workshop. Measures roughly 32 × 14 × 10 cm. Because every piece is carved individually, grain, colour and size vary slightly — the one you receive is unique. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth; keep away from harsh cleaners.
The story of this piece
“Our most-requested piece. Each takes Grace Moraa about nine days, most of them spent on the faces.”
